I have had a dozen of these for 6 years now- all daily use. Read all the other reviews. I am just adding a couple extra FYI's/cons. They are super easy if you just can let yourself wipe them clean without going into super cleaning mommy mode. If you must get them very wet or soapy, beware of mildew on the fabric as mentioned by another reviewer. They also take days to fully dry. This is easily avoidable if you just wipe the plastic clean and blot/spot clean the fabric. This was initially bothersome for me to just "wipe up" jelly, pb, mayo because I felt like I was not cleaning these greasy wraps well. I wipe them down with a tea tree oil and water solution quickly with a wet paper towel. Simple and cleaning problem resolved! It also blocks mildew in the fabric side.
The two that I placed in the washer to remove the mildew did eventually get tears in the plastic, while the others (all handwashed) did not(not bad for 6 years of constant use). The mildew is gone and I use these for dry snacks like crackers and pretzels. Just a few little tips that I have learned over the last 6 years. Still love them.

My husband has been bringing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to work almost every work day for the last year and a half in our first wrap-n-mat. I'm finally getting him a new one, just because, though this one is still totally functional. He was really skeptical at first, but was completely sold after a week. Sandwich doesn't get dry or stale, and the jelly is contained. We got the recycle print, and I think that in future I might get something darker - jelly on fingers gets transferred to the outside, but the inside wipes very clean. I wipe it out with a vinegar/water solution, and that cleans it nicely.

We love our wrap. It makes it easier for my son to eat his lunch. Clean up is a snap, much easier than plastic containers.

I like the way the wrap-n-mat seals and the general idea of the product, but while (gently!) washing the mat before its first use, i noticed there were 2 holes in the thin plastic liner. The outside layer of the wrap is fabric and the inside is VERY THIN plastic. I'm going to look for an alternate version of the product because i don't know how to prevent water from getting between the layers and molding.

Great alternative to plastic.

Bought two of these for our family and a bunch to give as gifts for the holidays two years ago. It will accommodate most sizes of bread and I love the idea that I'm not using plastic bags anymore for my sandwiches. I also love that you can use it as a placemat. To be honest, I don't tend to pack anything other than sandwiches in it. I think I've only put grapes in it. Will probably get one of the snack pouches for my snack foods – which would also make it easier for my 2-yr old to hold onto vs. this open package which could get crumbs everywhere if you're not careful in how you open it.
All-in-all, a great product.

I am always looking for ways to keep waste out of the landfill, so was really thrilled to see resusable sandwich bags advertised on my Facebook wall. I bought two Wrap-N-Mats for my husband and me, and we love the design. You can adjust them to the sandwich size and really wrap them so they stay in place, and the wrap unfolds into a nice mat for your desk. They are attractive, easy to clean, and dry quickly. Highly recommended!

This item is in fact made in China. It says so right on the package. I don't know if the other products in this line are made in the USA, but this one isn't.

Just got my Wrap-N-Mat a few days ago but I have used it every day since then and it works fabulously. My sandwiches and bagels have stayed fresh and nothing falls out. The place mat feature is really nice too. I also got a SnackTaxi and a Fresh Snack and really like them too but this is my favorite. I highly recommend them to everyone who is not happy about using so many sandwich bags.

These bags are great! For the past two years I have been using them to pack my son's lunches (which he brings lunch every day). I am on my second set and they are holding up great. I have never had a problem with the velcro coming loose, only normal wear (starting to look old). My daughter will be starting kindergarten next school year and I will definitely be buying more. They are great for snacks and sandwiches. My son loves them!

My husband has started to take his lunch to work and these are perfect for sandwiches. I can make his food the night before and it stays fresh until eaten the next day. I figured out that using these will save 10 plastic bags per week and 500 per year!

Perfect for sandwiches. Love that it folds out into a mat that I can then use to eat on. Wipes or hand washes clean easily. Highly recommend.

Initially I was thrilled with this product. Such a simple idea and design, and it works really well for what it's meant for. I wrap my son's sandwhich in it every day for school. I bought it in September, but by December the velcro was wearing out. It still works, but each day the velcro is getting worse and I'm afraid that it won't make it through until the end of the school year. I hand wash this wrap, so I'm not sure why I'm having a problem with the velcro.

I am a preschool teacher and I noticed that one of my students had these in his lunch, I thought that was genius! My mom had given me some Rubbermaid containers a few years ago but they are getting pretty worn-out and I refuse to buy any more plastic containers. These are great because they mold to the shape and size of your sandwich so they don't take up any more room than necessary. Plus they turn heads when you pull them out at lunch!

Love my wrap-n-mat. I'm a preschool teacher and I eat my lunch with my students every day -- they all love my neat lunch mat, and I love that I have an instant germ barrier! With the red/white check design, it looks like I'm having a picnic.
