| I have had this for nearly a year and use it frequently. It now has a small crack above the latch on the top section but this does not seem to affect the function at all.Though others have written about difficulty with the longer latches I find I just need to put one hand on the top as I latch it.
It is great for carrying out leftovers from restaurants, and will definitely cause conversation!
It would be nice if each section latched separately,so that you could take two sections at a time. But it is a very good size as it is. The top is good for a snack and all three sections for a meal. The mini container fits within the top section and is great for dip.Veggies etc. fit nicely around it. ... more |

| I bought this for my husband, and he really liked it. It was very convenient, and worked great at keeping everything separated and protected. Unfortunately, after about 2 months of use, the top two canisters developed splits in them and began to leak. It was because the clamps put too much pressure on the canisters and caused them to slightly crush. This led to the canisters leaking. We were very sad to no longer be able to use this carrier. It was awesome while it lasted, though. ... more |

| Oh boy do I love this tiffin! I use it frequently when I meet people for tea at the local coffeeshop because I always bring my own food and drink. It is durable, lightweight and easy to clean. The lid is snug and I find that most often I only need the top layer for me. I fill the other layers when the family is going to a picnic, fireworks, road trip, etc. I have two sets of these and two of the older two layer as well and still use them often. The bags are super too! ... more |

Dimensions
Assembled: 6 3/4" H x 4 3/4” D (5 1/2" D, including latches)
Top Unit height: 2"
Middle Unit height: 2 1/4”
Bottom Unit height: 2 1/2”
Liquid Measurement: 2 cups, for top and middle units; 2.5 cups, bottom unit
Sidekick Dimensions: 2 1/4” H x 2 1/2” D
Liquid Measurement: 1/2 Cup
Design & Functionality
The three containers sit securely on top of each other, with each level acting as a lid to the next level. Includes a handy removable plate that functions as a lid for the top container. Great for hot and cold food, the three containers will keep courses separate. The 3-tier style offers maximum versatility, with space for salads, soups, veggies and dip, fruit and yogurt, whatever you like!
These items are not guaranteed to be leak proof. We recommend putting soups and sauces in the top tier of the tiffin – the lid and double-latch system is designed to prevent against leaks. Sidekicks work best inside a food carrier to hold accompanying sauces or dressings, or outside a food carrier for dry food like nuts or fruit.
Materials
Lightweight, food-safe 14/1 grade stainless steel. Contains less nickel than other food-grade stainless steel and does not require a chemical sealant. These reusable, risk-free stainless steel containers do not impart taste and do not leach toxins into their contents. Avoid exposure to potentially harmful chemicals BPA leaching from cheap plastic alternatives.
Sustainability
The To-Go Ware® 3-Tier Stainless Steel Food Carrier is a portable, sustainable way to pack meals while avoiding "use & toss" disposable containers. Made from hygienic, non-leaching food-grade stainless steel, the carrier is a smart alternative to plastic.
Some additional reasons to consider this sustainable, eco-friendly product:
1. Built to last – ultimately helping you consume less over time
2. Another way to avoid plastic, a non-renewable resource
3. Made with Fair Wages paid and using Fair Labor practices
4. Recyclable
About the To-Go Ware
To-Go Ware's mission is to make available innovative products that provide a solution, tell a great story, and are enjoyable to use. To-Go Ware seeks to stimulate positive practices for the way people live in relationship with themselves, their neighbors and the planet.
Care Instructions
Dishwasher safe, or hand wash and dry thoroughly.
Please note: The Sidekick's lid does not snap or screw on, so you might want to fasten the lid with a rubber band to avoid spills.

The small container rusted, top container cracked. Nice idea, but the quality does not appear to be there.

I think this is a great idea and really wanted to

I think this is a great idea and really wanted to like this product, but ended up sending it back. It is very hard to open the top compartment. It is also hard to line up all the pieces and snap down the long clip on the side. It actually hurt my fingers to apply so much pressure to try to get the long clip to seal. I never used it with food because I practiced with it several times and was afraid I would end up spilling my food trying to open and close. Very awkward with the clips.

Love it!! I use it everday and everyone who sees it asks where I got it.
I have two sets and make up two days lunch ahead. They are in the fridge and ready to grab on my way out the door.
I traveled through airline security and put it the the tray thinking there might be a problem. the airline security screener said they looked like a great idea and didn't ask me to open them up, just asked if they contained liquid.
I intend to buy sets for my adult children and their spouses. I've used them when I have traveled to visit them, and they loved them too.
I am gluten and sugar free so I always carry my own food.
I love, love, love my TO GO WARE!!!

by Nicole S - 04/2009
I have two of these that I have been using for about a month. Overall I really like this product and the size of it. It has been perfect for bringing veggies and fruit to work with me. The two-tiered size seemed too large wide and end up having lots of wasted space. In the 3-tiered style I end up getting the right amount of veggies in each. It is also a good size for about a cup of rice so I can easily do rice and a topping and have the 3rd container for dessert
I highly recommend getting a carrying bag with it because it makes it just that much easier to throw over your shoulder and bring into work.
The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is that it can be a bit difficult to clip the containers together.

I've enjoyed this carrier a lot
by Sonja R - 01/2009
I've enjoyed this carrier a lot.
I can easily fit a sandwich in one carrier, a salad in another, and a small snackbar and an apple cut in half in the bottom. I have brought soups and stews (in the top container) with no leaks throughout my short walk and bus ride to work, though I bought the carrier bag so that it would easily be kept upright. I like the little tin that comes with it, but it takes up a lot of room, and it is just as deep as the carriers and I can only fit it into the top one because of its lid.
Other reviews have talked about it being difficult to close, but I haven't really experienced that with mine, though there is enough resistance so that it closes snugly. I have found that it is easier to close the longer latches at the same time: closing one and then the other makes for a difficult time with the second latch.

I love this container! I get my breakfast, lunch, and two snacks in it with plenty of room for more. The lid does fit on rather snugly, but I prefer that to one that falls off and spills my lunch! I plan to buy the carry bag too.
