Great quality. My teen loves the fabric. Plenty of room for a large sandwich but also folds snugly for a smaller sized sandwich. Easy to clean. Dries quickly. I would purchase more of these.

These reusable snack and sandwich bags were an instant hit around our office. We love the cheerful patterns, the easy-to-clean inner lining and the fact that they’re made in the USA! With the potential to replace thousands of disposable plastic baggies over their lifetime, these Velcro-adjustable bags are a great addition to your waste-free lunch kit. (See our tips below!)

Design & Functionality
Available in two sizes – for sandwiches or smaller snacks – snackTAXIs are versatile enough to replace all the wasteful plastic baggies we throw away every day. Pack chips, pretzels, carrot or celery sticks in the smaller size – it’s great for carrying snacks for little ones or packing in their lunches. The larger size is big enough for just about any bagel or sandwich. The long Velcro tab makes the bag sizes adjustable and the inner lining protects from leaks and stains.

Materials
snackTAXI's exterior is washable, colorful cotton. Soft and flexible, it’s perfect for a kid’s lunch box and fashionable enough for teenagers and adults. The interior nylon lining is coated with polyurethane on the underside. Safer than PVC, this coating keeps food fresh while it protects the outer material from stains. Because the coating is on the underside of the nylon lining, it does not come in contact with food.

This product is great, but Eco Ditty is doing the same thing made out of organic cotton. It is not clear to me why Snack Taxi is not using organic cotton if they really want to make a non-toxic and low impact product that is an improvement over WrapaMats.

I love these bags EXCEPT (and it's a BIG except!) that they get really stinky after 6 months to a year despite washing them every day in hot water and soap. I contacted the company who apologized nicely and offered a discount on more bags, but they explained that the oil from the snacks (popcorn, chips, etc.), permeates the lining of the bags (which absorbs it), and makes the bags stinky. I ordered 5 more bags, washed them diligently after every use, but sure enough, a few months later they became stinky. My kids complain that their snacks smell sour. (They do!) If you're going to use them for fruit or a sandwich, or something non-greasy, you should be fine. But for popcorn, pretzels, potato chips, nachos, cheetos, etc., try another bag.

Functional and adorable

I think these are a great way to reduce waste

I think these are a great way to reduce waste. I used to store uneaten foods in the ziploc bags and they would stay fresh because they are air tight. I don't think it would work with these. As long as eaten the same day, a great snack carrier.

I was nervous that my 1st grade son would not thin

I was nervous that my 1st grade son would not think these were "cool" enough to take to school but I was wrong. He likes the prints (racecars & goldfish) and I just like knowing I'm not using another "baggie". These are great for lunch but of course they're not airtight so anything left in them more than a day can get dried out or stale. Today we used all 3 - sandwich, snack crackers and carrots. They're easy to wipe out quickly.

I really like these bags, they are easy to clean and nice and roomy. I would like velcro on the back to make it more secure when there is only half a sandwich in there. I would also take advantage of the multiple purchase option if there were more choices available at the same time. Overall we are very happy with the bags and look forward to using them for many years(very well made)

Great bags!

Great bags! They are large enough to fit our sandwiches quite easily and are also easy to clean. Although they are not air tight, it comes close since the material at the top folds over to create a pseudo seal.

The snacktaxi is great

The snacktaxi is great. The bag holds a lot-a large sandwich or a variety of small snacks. And the animal life design is super cute and attracts lots of attention. I wash it with water and hang it outside to try. It dries relatively quickly and is ready to use again. Highly recommended.
