Product Details

About SIGG
For 100+ years, SIGG has utilized Swiss precision and craftsmanship to produce high-quality reusable bottles. The history of SIGG Switzerland dates back to 1908 when metal processing specialist Ferdinand Sigg established an aluminum product factory in Biel, Switzerland. The SIGG bottle became a fixture in Swiss households; in fact, every member of the Swiss Army had a SIGG bottle issued as standard field gear. A USA subsidiary was launched in 2005, but SIGG operations still remain in the quaint village of Frauenfeld, Switzerland to this day. In addition, as a member of 1% for the Planet, SIGG USA donates 1% of all sales to helping preserve our environment.

    I couldn't help notice how similar the "Bottle Clean Tablets" are to denture cleaners such as Efferdent. I regularly use Efferdent to clean my coffee pot and coffee cups, and the SIGG tablets looked, smelled, and fizzed exactly the same as Efferdent. Since there seems to be no difference between the two products except the price (These cleaning tablets are *way* more expensive than denture cleaning tablets), I'm sticking with Efferent.

    I love this product because it is always difficult

    I love this product because it is always difficult to get a good clean on your tall water bottles and mugs. It has a clean peppermint smell and I know it is a healthy way to clean my bottles. I use this product coupled with the bottle brushes from Sigg. Works like a charm!

    I purchased these after reading the reviews on this site. The tablets work as people have stated - quick and easy to just drop in and leave alone for 30 minutes. The slight smell of mint after is nice - after having noticed the metallic type smell you can get after heavy use of the bottles. I do feel like this is probably a simple product - like alka-seltzer tablets, but I feel more comfortable buying the product as it should have been designed for Sigg bottles.

    These work well. They are indeed minty fresh and hands off. I also put one in my stainless coffee cup that is developing coffee stains and it went a long way to reducing the stains. I will purchase these again.

    These work great at cleaning your bottle, especially if you haven't purchased the SIGG bottle brush. You just drop in the tablet and let it sit for 30 minutes and rinse. It gets any grungyness out of the bottle very easily.

    Yes, these do work very well. There's no aftertaste, and I love any cleaning product that lets me walk away. I'd love it if the instructions came with advice for cleaning the caps too. Pour the bubbling water, when finished with the bottle into a bowl with caps and let it sit again? Or with a new tablet? Or? It's not that I can't improvise, but it seems like an important part of the bottle to clean as well.

    These tablets work great!

    These tablets work great! I haven't found any other way to make cleanig your water bottles so easy. All you do is fill your bottle with warm water and drop in a tablet, rinse and your ready to go. They make your bottle sparkling clean,with no after taste.

    I have only used the clean tablets once and it seemed to clean my SIGG bottle quite nicely. The water has no metallic taste and I don't have to worry about tasting soap. Much easier than trying to get it clean in the dishwasher! Very easy to use...fill bottle with water, drop a tablet in and come back 30 minutes later...ta da...all clean!
