Why the bags are unique
Each bag is handmade in Lowell, Massachusetts, a historic textile town home to a vast immigrant community. The bags are manufactured in a factory that supports much of the community & operates in accordance to the Fair Labor Association's Code of Conduct. The factory has very good working conditions, pays fair wages, encourages secondary education through sponsorships & and many entry-level stitchers and sewers move into managerial positions through their "promote from within" philosophy.
