I love your bags and have been using them for a couple years. However, on one of the earliest bags the ribbon did detach from the bag. I used a safety pin to reattach the ribbon.

    Why the bags are unique

    Each bag is handmade in Lowell, Massachusetts, a historic textile town home to a vast immigrant community. The bags are manufactured in a factory that supports much of the community & operates in accordance to the Fair Labor Association's Code of Conduct. The factory has very good working conditions, pays fair wages, encourages secondary education through sponsorships & and many entry-level stitchers and sewers move into managerial positions through their "promote from within" philosophy.

    Simple and Attractive

    The bags are simple in design - anyone with sewing skills could make comparable ones themselves, but the fabrics are soft and attractive. A drawstring closure would be more functional. The fabric patterns are more Christmassy than I expected, which limits their utility for other gift-giving occasions. I look forward to using these bags for many years to come!

    I am so pleased with these bags

    I am so pleased with these bags. There is the feel of quality both in the fabric and in the way they are sewn. I particularly liked one of the red prints. Also the prints were good for both males and females. We used them for Christmas and we will be able to use them for years to come. (Although I might like the tie at the top sewn a little lower.) This is a very good product.

    I really enjoyed using these bags

    I really enjoyed using these bags. It made wrapping my gifts so much faster than usual and it was easy to "wrap" odd sized gifts. Clean-up was easier too. No torn paper to sort through for recycling or disposal: just folding the bags for re-use. They looked really festive as well, and I also felt good about cutting down on waste.

    I really enjoyed the reusable bags. The quality is excellent and the designs fun. The best thing about them is the fact that we can help the environment by reusing. For my purposes it would have been better to have the starter set hold only big and medium bags. As a grandparent I do not need any small bags. So you inspired me to make my own bags! Under our tree are only resuable bags and no paper at all! Ingrid

    I really liked the bags, the only thing that I would change is I wish they had a draw string as it is hard to secure something that is a tighter fit in the bag.
