I'm really pleased with the backpack - my husband and I have not used it yet, but will do so on a trip to Paris (for those impromptu lunches in the park or trips to the market) later this month. I'm really pleased with the size both open and packed.

I purchased this bag in raspberry for my daughter to use at daycare and love it so much that I bought one for myself a few months after. The bag folds to nothing. When opened it really holds a lot (small blanket, crib sheet, and a nap time toy) and still has lots of room for me to stuff a Mimi the Sardine lunch bag into it and even a windbreaker. I did have to fold the straps up and secure them with packaging tape to make the bag short enough for my 2 year old to carry. This bag is the only zippering bag that fits in the bin under my small Chico stroller. This is very important as I don’t want something hanging from the stroller in plain sight when we visit amusement parks or the mall. It’s so much nicer carrying this than a diaper bag.

I ordered 3 mini maxi backpacks together with 2 pack n\'notes. However, I only received the pack n\'notes, and the 3 backpacks were missing. I was so furious and complaint to customer service. The person-in-charge was very polite & helpful, and they sent the replacements to me immediately. Finally I got these beautiful backpacks and my daughters like them so much. Thank you for your excellent products & professional service.

The backpack is exactly what I hoped it would be. I use it to carry things on day trips to the zoo, park, pool or whatever with the kids. I like that it is not big and bulky so I can carry it around for long periods of time without feeling like it is getting heavy. I would just like to suggest more of a selection in the way of colors. Black was the only one I liked so that is what I bought. I would buy a few more for other family members if they came in solid colors like sunshine yellow, red, blue and/or grey. Thank you!

I have had the Recycled PET Drawstring Shopping Bag for a few months now and have been quite satisfied with it, however, I needed something that could carry a little heavier loads, so I ordered this Mini Maxi backpack. I like the feature that allows you to fold it into itself (which has the footprint of a small book), however, if I had to choose between this and the drawstring bag for when it comes to general shopping, then I'd go with the drawstring bag. It is much easier to pack and easier to store in your pocket, but for heavier loads, I would definitely use the Maxi Backpack.

Not sure if I got a faulty item but one of the straps on this backpack ripped almost completely off the last time I used it. It made the trip into the city really inconvenient. I didn't exert that much pressure on it so be careful with these.

Gave this as a gift to my brother who rides a bus to work daily. He thought it was a wonderful idea-- will fit in his cargo pocket and locker at work without a problem. However, compared to other space-saving reusable products, the package is quite large and the backpack is quite small.

This is my favorite bag by far. I take it everywhere. It is more convenient than an over one shoulder bag for comfort when out and about. I especially love taking this bag to amusement parks or places where we have to carry a lot of stuff for the day (money, sunscreen, a drink, snacks, a diaper, etc.) but want a comfortable bag that is lightweight. These are so lightweight. The only downside is they can show wear if you over stuff them often with heavy items. But really that is avoidable. I got several - my children don't mind these either as they are so light. And when they get filthy from being thrown around a park for example you just wash them.

The good: These bags are super-lightweight, surprisingly strong, and as compact as advertised. We tucked them into our luggage and used them as day packs, and they worked wonderfully. The bad: The straps' edges are rather sharp. When I slipped the pack on and off while wearing short sleeves, I actually gave myself cuts.

I got this to use as a daypack while on vacation. It's cool how it folds up, but because of this there is absolutely no padding. I could only carry one bottle of water, two was just too uncomfortable against my back. I also carried sunscreen, a camera, and maps in it and we'd stuff our hat and sunglasses in it when we went inside buildings. My husband and I switched off carrying it and at the end of the day we both had red marks on our shoulders. The size is very practical as a daypack, but it is just too uncomfortable for us to want to use again.

I've been looking for a backpack exactly like this to replace a similar style I've used and patched and repatched for nearly 25 years. Unlike most backpacks today that are large, bulkly, and made of heavy fabrics ... this one is unstructured, lightweight, and expands or compacts to meet your needs. I find it perfect for day trips out and about or at amusement parks to carry basic essentials like sunscreen, a light sweater, snacks, camera, and wallet, with room to spare for souvenirs bought along the way. Outside pocket makes it easy to separate camera, wallet or tickets for instant access. Wide straps are unpadded and lay smooth and comfortably on shoulders. I was so pleased with style, funtionality, and performance of bag when it arrived I ordered another one as a spare while the getting was good. Also easy to tuck this one zipped up in it's own pocket into your purse or luggage just in case. It takes up the room of a small paperback book and weighs nothing. I love it!
