    Reisenthel Market Baskets are an updated version of the classic wicker basket. They're a practical size for quick runs to the grocery store, market or as carryall around town. It's an ideal tool for groceries: use in place of plastic baskets, pack and haul home. The sturdy base helps prohibit tipping & spilling. Assembly is simple – expand the lightweight handle from the frame & lock in the up position. Thin inserts are provided to give extra support along the sides. The soft rubber handle is comfortable to grip and is big enough to hook around the forearm. Rigid bottom & protective feet reinforce the base & help reduce abrasion. An inner zippered pocket is convenient for a wallet, cell phone, keys & lists.

    I use my basket every chance i get. And I get a lot of compliments on it at my local market. This basket costs about twice as much in Norway where I live. The only downside is that it sometimes falls over when it is full and standing in the back of the car. But all in all a great and stylish buy.

    I think this basket is awesome! It can be used for so many different tasks, of course grocery shopping but also farmers market, hobbies and crafts,and the list goes on. One thing I will always use it for are all the many outings to family & friends parties. Every holiday or get-together I'm always hunting for sacks & boxes to transport all of my snacks, drinks, ingredients to make a dish once I'm there & then you've got to get them all hauled in to their home. Now instead of dragging in all the bags that are usually tearing I can arrive looking organized & sassy.

    The market basket I ordered is being used to hold children's gallery activities for use in the art museum where I work. It is great for this purpose because it looks nice, and it functions well. I am very impressed with the quality of the design and construction. I now have two such baskets. The first one was purchased about 1 1/2 years ago, I was interested to see that the new basket has some subtle design improvements that make it even sturdier. Very impressive. I have had several inquiries from co-workers regarding where to buy this product. Everyone loves it.

    I love my Reisenthel Market Basket. My brother gave it to me for my birthday and every time I use it at the store someone asks me where I got it. And then usually they write down the name of it and say "My wife would love that!" or " I am going to get one for my daughter". I also got one for my dad for Christmas this year. Other than everyone you see wanting to know where you got your "cute little basket" it is very functional. I love that I can just put everything I am buying in the basket, check out, and then put it right back in the basket. No need for plastic bags or trying to remember your reusable bags. It is great!

    I love the market basket. I purchased it for my mom because she uses a wheelchair while out shopping. I did not put the plastic supports in the 4 sides so I could collapse it more easily and carry it in a back pack.

    We love this basket!

    We love this basket! The padded handle makes it easy to carry. It is not too wide, so it doesn't hit my legs while walking through the market either. It is very durable, holding much more weight than I thought it would, more than I need it to. It looks even better at home than it does in the photos. It goes easily from store to car to countertop, and right back to the car so we always have it with us. My husband thought this item seemed unnecessary since we have other reusable items, but once he started using it, I haven't been able to get my hands on it!
