My wife just received one of these bags for Christmas and loves it. It is HUGE and is perfect for shopping expeditions to the mall, where she can just put all her purchases in the one bag and not have to carry around a whole bunch of individual store bags. The bag would also be ideal for trips to Target, Wal-Mart or Costco, where we purchase all types of items that don't always fit into the smaller bags we have.

I like the size of the Reisenthat CityshopperXL, and particularly love the inner zip pocket. I was doubtful about the handles when I bought it, and my doubts were accurate: the handles are too thin, not comfortable in the hands or on the shoulder. A wider or more cusiony handle would be better. I don't find any benefit in the way the handle is sewn doubled at the top - it's particularly uncomfortable on the shoulder. When a bag is XL, I put a lot more in it and it can weigh a lot and I need comfy handles! ~Julia

This is a great design! The bag is HUGE, with a boxed bottom. Perfect for mall shopping, or large items. It has a pocket that will fit your wallet, phone and keys, so you don't have to hunt for them in the cavernous depths! The strap is perfect for wearing on your shoulder, keeing your hands free, even when full. My only "con" is that it is not available in plain black.

This bag is absolutely gorgeous and very well made. I bought it for my big clothes-shopping trips so that I can just throw all of my purchases into one bag and say "no, thank you" to all of the plastic bags. I have not used it yet since I am trying to save money but I can't wait for Christmas shopping!! I got tons of compliments, too, when I brought it to work. It's good for anything when you need to carry a lot, and want to look stylish doing it!

The bag is HUGE! I carry/walk my groceries about 1/2 mile to my home this is great for the big bulky but not heavy items. If I filled it with heavy items I could not pick it up! However, it has fairly comfortable straps even when filled with some weight.

I recently bought two XL Cityshoppers (Artdeco and Sand) and love them. The size is huge and fits all the stuff you could possibly need to go to the beach. I also use it to go clothes shopping so that I won't need to get a plastic bag from the store. The straps easily fit over my shoulders, but when the bag is loaded, it would be more comfortable to have the top of the straps, that sits on the shoulder padded. This is especially true in the summer when i walk around in tank tops and the handles are directly on my skin. Other than that, absolutely great product. I would recommend it to anyone. It also makes a great hostess gift and at the same time makes a statement about conservation of the environment.

The other reviews are right... this bag IS HUGE! But is great for carting home big bulky stuff that doesn't weigh much (think TP, tissues, paper napkins, boxes of cereal, crackers, etc.). And it matches my black and my red ACME Workhorse bags perfectly, so it is an awesome grocery store accessory. :o)

Like everythign Riesenthel does, this bag is sturdy, sturdy, sturdy. I love that the inside is waterproof. I use this bag for the grocery store as well as for mall shopping. Currently, I use it for work, toting all my supplies around, so I may have to have another for shopping. The handles stay comfortable to use, even with a heavy load.

I love this bag! It's huge and colorful and perfect for department store shopping. Because it's so large, it's necessary to load it with light-weight items because it could quickly become too heavy if used for heavier groceries. I sometimes have to monitor the baggers to ensure that only breads, boxes of cereal, etc go into it. Thanks for a fun product!

I love the fabric pattern! This is one huge bag and will hold loads of things when shopping and is floppy and collapsable so could be carried in a smaller bag before it's full. It feels very sturdy including the handles.

Great bag! I can put several plastic bags worth of groceries into it and skip the plastic altogether. I love the pattern, and the zippered pouch for my wallet, keys, etc.
