| I really like these bags! I had my doubts at first, but then I used them and was amazed at how much stuff I could put in them at the grocery store. The cashier was impressed too and asked where I bought them. They are very soft, durable and I love that you can fit all 6 of them into the pouch. They fit easily into the pocket on the door of my husbands truck so he always has bags on hand too! ... more |

Olive Smart bags are ideal for people new to using reusable shopping bags – or for those of us who have trouble remembering to "bring your own." These convenient, stylish bags fold neatly into one Stuff Sack that fits into a handbag or cup holder. The lightweight, but strong fabric, Supplex® nylon, is designed to hold up to 20 lbs per bag, with minimal risk of tearing. We like the soft, silky feel of these bags, which look more polished than many other reusable bags.
We recommend using the the Full Sack for a full cart of groceries or the Half Sack for lighter loads.

Design & functionality
Olive Smart bags are a great combination of durability and style. One of the largest ultra-compact bags we offer – fill these bags up with groceries or other goods, then put the bags into the drawstring Stuff Sack and toss it back into your car or handbag, and you’ll always have the bags handy when you need them. The lightweight, but durable Supplex® nylon can withstand heavy loads and resists tearing. Sophisticated, subtle colors are designed to endure – and produced by a company committed to the environment (see below). The versatile strap length makes it easy to carry these bags on your shoulder or by hand.
Materials
Made of Supplex® nylon, a state-of-the-art microfiber designed for strength, durability and high performance. Supplex is specially engineered to have the softness of cotton, with the strength of nylon. The fabric is constructed of finer, more numerous fibers to withstand daily abuses, minimize tears, and never shrink or stretch. Designed to wick moisture and dry quickly, Supplex is ideal for transporting refrigerated or frozen items from store to home.
Supplex also has a soft, silky look and feel, and resists stains and fading.
Sustainability
Using Olive Smart bags can help eliminate thousands of paper and plastic bags over the course of their lifetime. Durable Supplex® nylon is designed to last for years, which means you’ll go through fewer bags compared to other reusable bag materials. The Olive smart bags are the softest material and very nice colors which are small enough to take anywhere, however, they are really too small to hold very much and the straps are too short to fit over your shoulder. The bottom seams in the bag are also sewn in a way that do not allow them to hold as much as they would if they were sewn differently. Compared to Envirosax, they just don't measure up.

These bags are great!! They are larger than the normal plastic bags yet they fit on the turnstill bag holders at most stores. It makes it easy for the store employees to use. Plus because of the small size, I can keep the pouch in my purse for all of those just in case shopping moments!
I would recommend these bags to everyone.

I have used my shopping set full sack a few times now. Love the colors. I love not having to use plastic. Two things I am not so crazy about. The opening in the top is a bit small. The other thing is that the material stained from water that was from condensation on a product. I am sure it will was out but was a little embarresed carrying it around with the water mark showing through.

The colors are beautiful, warm and comforting. The bags hold a ton, so I can do my entire week's shopping with just these 6 bags. The material is durable. I haven't had to clean them yet so can't speak to that. I love the little drawstring pouch that holds all the bags. Very convenient! The handles on the bags are wide, which makes it comfortable to hold them, but it's difficult to find the handles, so you can't pick the bags up very quickly. That's why I knocked it down a notch in the rating.

Great bags! Each bag holds a lot of groceries, and the stuff sack is very convenient. The store clerk mentioned how easy these bags are to load, especially since they fit on the plastic bag frames. It is a good feeling to know my bags will not split apart as I am carrying my groceries, and they are earth friendly.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! I bought 4 sets of these and will use 3 sets it to WRAP my holiday gifts in. This is the perfect way to introduce family and friends to the concept of refusing the plastice bags at the grocery store. I have another brand of Reusable bags but this one is perfect for small item purchases. Love the idea that I can carry ALL six bags in one little tote. Definately the alternative to the plastic bags AND I get 3- 5 cents PER bag from my grocer when I use my own bags. Gotta love that incentive. Go ahead, I dare you - BE A BRING YOUR OWN BAG LADY!

I love this set. I have been using other reusable bags for a while, but I wish I'd found these sooner. They come all packed together in an easy to carry sack that can be thrown in your purse or glove compartment. They're great and hold a lot of stuff! This is 1 of my favorite things I've found on this site!

Can't say enough about these bags - I LOVE them. The high-quality fabric is durable yet soft and they look great right out of the washing machine. The grocery check-out people love them because the handles fit perfectly on their plastic bag racks (although you can get longer handles if desired in the half sack) and you can load up a bunch in each hand. But my favorite feature is that you can easily stuff SIX of them into the very cool drawstring bag which fits perfectly into any car's cup holder so that you never forget to bring them with you! I have multiple sets (love all the colors) and receive constant compliments.

The Olive Smart bags are best I've seen, and I did my homework. They are the perfect combination of convenience and chicness. Most importantly they are very durable - I've probably washed my bags 30 times and they still look new. All in all, it's the best bag for day-to-day shopping and errands.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Olive Smart bags!
I keep the sack in my car and the six bags work perfectly for all my groceries. Easy to pack, easy to carry, no ripped bags, and my groceries stay neat and upright in the back of my car. The sacks are easy to fold up; the cloth is soft and durable.
I keep the half sack in my purse for trips to the drug store, picking up a few groceries or carrying miscellaneous items. Super handy.
The bags are very well made and do not show any sign of wear and tear after a whole year of heavy use. They also make the perfect gift...
