    About Mimi the Sardine
    Mimi the Sardine was started by Pia Andersson in the late 80s. After designing and producing children's clothing for several major mail order companies including Hanna Andersson and Garnet Hill, the company now specializes in functional products made from eco-coated cotton fabrics directly imported from Sweden.

    All of Mimi the Sardine items are manufactured locally in the San Francisco Bay Area. They take great pride in "made-to-last" quality, produced in accordance with strict environmental laws.

    Care Instructions
    Machine wash, air dry. For smaller spills, just wipe clean with a damp cloth.

    My five year old loves her lunch bag. It is fashionable, safe, and fits her whole lunch along with a sippy cup and cold pack...what more could you ask for!

    This is an adorable lunchbag. I love the fun colors, shape and handles. The only two problems I have are it "sweats" if you put a cold pack in it and it is really not medium sized. I find it to be kind of small. Still, because it is so cute, I just have adjusted the types of containers I use. Besides, it may just turn out to be a fabulous diet tool. Less food, less pounds! :)
