I wanted so much to like these but they have a strong chemical smell that did not wash away after handwashing and placing in the dishwasher. The bags left my food tasting very strongly of plastic/chemical. My search for a baggie replacement continues...

I purchased a number of the sandwich- and snack-size bags. They've worked great so far. They look fabulous and are sturdy (tough fabric and strong Velcro). They clean right up in the dishwasher (I place them on the prongs on the top shelf). The snack size is pretty small (better for a child than a teenage boy), but the sandwich size has all the room we've needed. I'm really happy with the purchase and already ordered a second batch. Totally recommend.

I love this product, because I am not throwing away loads of plastic baggies every week (think 3 kids- lunch and snack). The only downside is some foods don't stay as fresh when packed the night before (like nuts, corn nuts, etc). I LOVE that I can stick these on the top rack of my dishwasher to clean. That makes it all worthwhile- and the kids like the designs.

Love It! My 5 yr.old takes it to school- has no problem opening it. Easy to clean- just wipe or fill with water & shake- then let dry.

I recently purchased the lunchskins. They keep the food fresh and the quality is excellent. I only wish the bags were a little bigger because I find that if you make a large sandwich it won't fit.

I purchased two of these sandwich size bags for my son's lunchbox to see how they held up. So far so good! Every night I turn them inside out and wash with the rest of my days dishes and they're dry for use again the next morning. I wondered how the seams would hold up after several flips inside out and back but they've surpassed my expectations. My son loves the sharks and the velcro closure really holds.

We really like the LunchSkins sandwich bags. We use them for the kids (ages 6 & 8) school lunches. They are very sturdy and the perfect size to fit into lunch boxes. We turn them inside out to wash and dry them, and they are dry and ready for use by the next morning.

The design for these is a good one--easy to access and open. My only complaint is that they have a funny chemical odor (maybe from the food safe liner?) that has not washed out after a few weeks. One of my kids says it makes her sandwich taste funny. Although they perform well (keeping sandwiches from drying out or spilling), I probably would not purchase these again.

My whole family is using these Lunchskins...from crunchy snacks to fruit and veggies to sandwiches. Although, after using one for red peppers and another for a pb&j sandwich, even after cleaning, the inside is somewhat stained. But, they generally wash easily in the dishwasher or with a sponge and I have even thrown them in the drier and they come out fine. I feel so much better not using plastic baggies anymore!

Love the lunchskins sandwich bags. The lizard design is perfect for a boy or girl. Most of the time my kids come home with half a sandwich left and after 8 hours in the lunchskins sandwich bags, the sandwiches are still fresh - not stale at all!

I ordered two of these sandwich bags for my lunch because I'm sick of using plastic bags and throwing them out. These bags work great. I've only used them twice, but my sandwich was nice & fresh. I pack my lunch at 6 am and don't eat until noon. They clean up easy and it's really nice not having something to throw out. I would highly recommend them.
