nice design. bought it for my son's lunch bag. He likes it. Haven't had it long enough to comment on it's longevity, but I like the fact that the center is a grip surface. it's good for little hands

Why It Gets Our Seal of Approval

  • Lightweight & indestructible
  • 3-in-one utensil
  • Hypoallergenic, non-corrosive titanium
  • Tested in the outdoor industry, tough enough for city dwellers
  • Made in Sweden

These sporks are a far cry from the disposables you've come to know. Where the original version features a combined fork and spoon, neither of which worked all that well, this smart spork has a full-sized spoon on one side and a fully functional fork - with a serrated cutting edge - on the other. Made from one of the toughest alloys on the planet, this spork is just as suited for your dinner table as it is in your lunch kit. Great for conserving space, since it fits almost anywhere and is always available.

Materials
Titanium is one of the strongest alloys on Earth. Non-corrosive, non-magnatic and hypoallergenic it's widely used in aircraft construction due to it's strength - and in the medical field because of its high biocompatibility.

Sustainability
Compatible with Leave No Trace ethics, these sporks replace hundreds of disposable utensils each year - sparing our landfills and saving you money. Light My Fire's parent company Industrial Revolution partnered with Leave no Trace in 2007 in an effort to support core Leave No Trace principles which include:1) Dispose of Waste Properly, 2) Minimize Campfire Impacts and 3) Plan Ahead and Prepare.

I could wish the piece were a bit flatter for storage and carrying around, but the curve between spoon-end and fork-end is great for actually eating soup, so it's a decent compromise. :) Very lightweight, and seems quite sturdy so far.
