I love these sporks!! I found at a huge selection of them at a local art museum and my friends and i all got matching ones!! I happen to be using one right now! And the serrated edge doesn't cut your mouth like you think it would!

We love this spork -- it's the only utensil my daughter used through two years of preschool lunches. She had no problem eating with it or holding it. We bought 4 of them and they still look perfect. We first wrote her name on them in Sharpie, but it faded in the dishwasher, so we stuck a Mabel's Labels dishwasher-safe label on each one and that worked well. She's starting Kindergarten now and the sporks are coming with us. A great part of a zero-waste lunch!

My three year old enjoys using these at home. I carry one with lunch because they are so convenient. No food staining so far and easy to clean. Yay!

My foray into sporks started with the cheap plastic ones, then progressed to the Microbites, which I really liked for their strength and convenience. But the spoon was too small, and so were the fork tines, making eating a frustrating experience every day. When I saw the Light My Fire spork, I had to try it. Although it doesn't feel as sturdy as the Microbite, the design is far better, and I love that there is only one utensil for all three functions. The spoon and fork are both functional, and the knife is Suggestions for the future: Make the shaft stronger, punch a hole through it so people can strap it to their packs, and consider a fold down knife on the shaft (w/edge protector).

These are everything I had hoped in a reusable utensil. I like the way they look and work. I have used them to eat my lunch at work and they really get attention from my co-workers. I will buy more!

My son loves them in his lunch box. This way he's prepared no matter what he takes or happens to pick up at school. I'm considering replacing the disposable utensils at our office w/ these.

I actually got my kids the small, kid sized ones, but they like these bigger ones. They are very sturdy. I love that we don't have to waste disposables at school anymore. I'm going to get several sets for my Girl Scout Troop.

I have had these forks for over a year. One broke within 2 weeks after my son accidentally bit the fork while eating his lunch. I wondered whether he was just too rough...then it happened to me...the fork cracked at the prongs with a simple bite. I did not return them, but I am sure they would have been easily replaced.
I still have the other two. They have held up fair, but appear to be fading and becoming brittle. They have never been placed in a dishwasher because I must hand wash the kid's thermos' anyways. I wonder about how they would last with regular cleaning in a dishwasher? Everyone loves them- colorful, convenient, eco friendly, etc. However, I would not purchase these again even though 2 are still in use a year later. For the expense, I really ended up with two fancy plastic sporks when I paid for four very expensive items. My next purchase will be stainless steel camping utensils. The new Tritan chemicals (although BPA free) still leave all health concerns unanswered as well. My rating is neutral because they do serve their purpose. I would recommend trying another product first.

We enjoy using the sporks.
My husband and I travel daily for work and these sporks are wonderful for food on the go(goodbye sandwiches and hello, lasagna, soup, grilled chicken, etc) Our daughter is in elementary school where the focus is on reuse and or recycle. I was a bit hesitant because the fork is serrsted, that she would not be allowed to utilize it, but it is fine. She is very popular with her lunch accessories from Reusable Bags which incudes a teracycle lunch bag and kleen canteen water bottle.
We have several birthday parties to aatend and sporks will be a part of the gift for each.

Oops. Sorry, I rated the wrong sporks. My last review was regarding the kids sporks not these. I gave these away as a gift so not sure how my brother liked them yet.

My daughter likes her sporks...my only complaint is that I ordered one pink and one blue set and received two pinks so my son didn't get to have his own. But, I didn't want to go through the process of returning it to get the order corrected.

These sporks are just great. I took one with me on a trip to Bangkok, Bhutan, and India, and it both survived the rigors of my day pack and came in very handy. The serrated surface peels fruits and vegetables but somehow doesn't get in the way when you're using the spork for food delivery. I gave sporks as stocking stuffers to my nephews for Christmas this year so they could get into the habit of avoiding plastic cutlery when they go to fast food joints. And I still carry one with me at all times in the event I find myself needing cutlery while out and about.

Nifty way to cut down on plastic trash.

This tool takes a little getting used to, but overall I am really pleased with my purchase. I took one to work to keep in my desk drawer to use at lunch, and it is satisfying to always have an eating tool and not have to scrounge around begging and borrowing plastic forks or spoons. All the utensils work pretty well, although it feels awkward at first. I wish the shank were just a bit longer, so you could get a better grip, but that is a minor problem. I love that I can just give it a quick wash and toss it back in my drawer, ready for tomorrow's meal. I would definitely buy again.

I just ordered a 4-pack of the Light My Fire Sporks and my kids LOVE them! Every day they ask me to pack something for lunch that requires the use of a spork. They particularly like the knife on the side which most other sporks don't have. Great for pasta, applesauce, yogurt, anything!
