Bought this for my husband. I prefer to drink from the bottle, he wanted a sports top. It's a good size, sleek design. My only complaint is it makes a noise when he drinks from it. It's difficult to describe the noise, my 4 year old says it sounds like a monkey when he drinks. Although my husband says he likes it, I would not buy this again.

Love this canteen. Like someone else mentioned, it fits great in cupholders in the car (this point gives it a big plus in my book). I use it with the flat lid. That way it fits better into my lunchbox or tote bag. If I'm going out for the whole day I find it easier to carry two of these rather than one huge canteen. Well worth the price. I recommend you buy a few.

This is absolutely the best product on the market!! I have 7 klean kanteens. When I go out of town I pack them all with water and load up the car and we go. I have a panic attack if I forget it and push them on everyone. There is no taste and the water actually tastes better. These are better than Sigg because ice fits in the top and there are different types of lids per your choice! The company is from my town and I love them so much I want to invest in stock!

This is the 3rd Klean Kanteen 27 oz. bottle I've bought. For some reason I keep losing them. The bottle is great: good quality stainless is sturdy and doesn't impart smell or taste. The bottle fits nicely in my hand and car cupholder. I like the sport top. However I hate the new design of the lid. I don't like the big ring of plastic sticking up where my mouth can hit it. I don't attach the bottle to anything so the ring is useless to me and just in the way. I wish I had the option of buying the old lid without the plastic that sticks up.

Wide mouth is easy to fill, even with ice cubes. The cap is nice for drinking, but the big loop on top pokes me in the nose - just have to be aware of which way is up when you try to drink. It's very easy to clean - even the cap cleans quickly and easily in the sink.

The quality of the 27 oz KK is 5-Star but I prefer to rank it 4.5-Star as its not wholly made in the USA (and due to the economic condition, this company could be employing a lot of qualified Americans). Nevertheless, I ended up KK after a horrid, and stinky experience with SIGG. Absolutely, no scent issues with KK. The standard size bottle fits ice cubes without a problem. You find find the 27oz as cheap as $14 on occasions; so, pricing is very acceptable. My only complaint is that they do not have a looped attachment for the tops to prevent loss or from falling by accident. I think this is an Achilles heel, especially during exercise and use in gyms. I am still satisfied with the purchase.

This is a great container for my iced coffee or water on the road. No more plastic bottles! The coffee stays cold for a long time and the water never tastes "funny".

These are wonderful bottles. Easy to clean; durable and the sport top is perfect. (Who would want to have to unscrew the top everytime you needed a drink.) I wish more places would just provide good quality water to refill with. That's the next step: instead of selling bottled water, provide bulk water/filtered water to refill our Klean Kanteens.

Love it! I have tried all sorts of reusable bottles and this is the only one that fits the bill. I love the wide mouth....easy to clean and put ice in. I love that it is completely stainless with no liner. It is really durable as well. Great water bottle.

I realy like this water bottle. I prefer stainless steel over aluminum because of all the talk about aluminum leaching. And I personally am not interested in a bottle that has some kind of epoxy liner that can and will eventually break down. The size is great (for an adult). I like the wide mouth for cleaning and the sports cap makes it real simple to use....while driving, biking, etc... I also like that the sports cap has a snap on cover to keep it clean. Both bottle and cap appear to be made well. I have had no problems with leaks. One person mentioned that the air valve sometimes leaks, but maybe they were unaware that this valve is made to take out if you want to increase water flow...so maybe it just needs to be re-inserted. The only thing I wish it had is a finger loop or some kind of handle. The exterior of the bottle gets extremely cold and gets a bit uncomfortable to carry. Over-all...nice bottle, and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I have had more compliments on this bottle. I love the wide mouth because you can add a full size ice cube. The 27 oz. size is a perfect fit in the car cup holder and inside many different purses and backpacks. While traveling in airports, I just finish the water and leav the top unscrewed while passing through security. Then fill it up on the other side. Perfect!The loop that is attached to the cap and fits around the neck of the bottle is perfect. I don't have to put down the cap on an unclean surface while I refill and I will never misplace the cap either. It does not leak and I have carried, both, seltzer and water. No waste either for carbonated beverages because they retain their fizz, unlike opening a pop-top can. Besides the fact that it is stainless steel, there is no BPA. I will be purchasing more in different sizes. Thank you for a great product.

I am very happy with my Klean Kanteens. They are very easy to clean, never leave a taste from previous use in them and hold a reasonable amount of fluid. The wide mouth makes them very easy to fill and add flavorings to. I've had no leaking problems like I have with other reusable bottles and I carry these things everywhere. I couldn't be any happier with this product.

This is a great bottle! We've been using this bottle for several months now and I LOVE the new lid. Still makes what my kids call the "squirrel" sound but all in all they enjoy drinking from it too. The only problem that I have is that the top is a little hard for my 2 & 4 year old to operate but then I don't think this is meant to be used as a kid's bottle! I'm giving it 4 stars because of the "squirrel" sound. I gave a final exam and was embarassed to drink because it was noticeably loud!
