The previous reviewers of this product are insane. While I agree that, conceptually, this bad is great, there is one major flaw that trumps all of its positive features. Specifically, the bag comes with a disclosure statement that basically tells you that the ink used in printing the bag for its original, intended use is not stable in its new purpose. As a result, if you purchase this bag, you may very experience what I have experienced: both discoloration my hands (easy to wash off) and staining of your clothes if you sling the bag over your shoulder - both at the shoulder itself and where the bag rubs along your torso. Buyer beware. It would have been helpful to see the disclosure BEFORE purchase.

Instead of the more traditional monogrammed canvas bags, I purchased these for my bridal party to hold all of their wedding day necessities. The bags are awesome and everyone loved them! Warning: The ink sometimes rubs off onto your skin.

I bought the grocery bag for my niece who is 26 yr old so I wanted sosmething that was bright and hip-looking. She and her fiancee go out in their boat and to the beach a lot so I wanted something waterproof but also 'cool'. This bag will fit the bill. These bags are simply amazing. They hold much more than you expect and can be used to carry quite heavy loads. I don't think twice now about filling it up with bottles or tins from the supermarket. Once on your shoulder they don't even feel heavy. I can cary much more in two of these than I could with plastic bags and I still have two hands free to carry more so I go to the supermarket less often. I love this bag!

I got these bags for Christmas presents and one for myself. Everyone loved them, the unique style and sturdiness. The grip is just right, and the bag holds more than I expected. There was a musty smell inside as had been noted by a few other customers. I didn't have a lot of time to air outside, so I put a few dryer sheets (Bounce) inside and that did the trick. Also, the shipping and delivery was incredibly fast, and it was only $4.95 regardless of order size. I would definitely order more.

I bought one gecko bag for my sister to use to take to work every day she is a school teacher, she loved it! And the other gecko bag I purchased for myself, and I use it for work every day. Thanks so much! For Christmas I gave everyone their new string bags which I placed each of their packages in and they are now using them for whatever, grocery or work or just carring stuff in. So much so that my daughter inquired where I got them so she can purchase more from you for birthday gifts for adults and the wee ones!!!! I love your products....

I absolutely love these bags. I tried one and loved it so much that I ordered two more for myself and bought one for my sister as well. They hold so much and are must stronger than any of the other "green" bags I've used. Also, they look really great and I go get a lot of compliments on them as well. This is a great website!

I LOVE my new Gecko Traders bags! They are super sturdy. They are stylish and fun and long lasting. I get lots of compliments on my bags. They can easily fold up to fit inside your purse. I use them for the grocery store, hardware store and any other shopping. Fits comfortably over my shoulder even with a coat. I purchased one of each size and style. I'm sure I won't need to buy any more bags for a very, very long time. They are also waterproof and easy to clean up with a sponge and water. The larger ones are very roomy and can carry a lot.
