Design & Functionality
The ideal every day, carry-all bag, these cotton totes are versatile, durable, machine-washable and made from 100% recycled materials. Comfortable, wide, cotton handles make it easy to carry on your shoulder or in your hand.

Generously sized (a bit bigger than a standard brown paper grocery sack), the bag has a deep 7.5” gusset and is double stitched at all stress points. It’s strong enough to hold 30+ pounds, so you’ll never worry about the handles breaking or the bottom ripping on larger loads.


Materials
When it comes to sustainability, recycled cotton blows away organic cotton. Made from pre-consumer cotton "table waste" clippings that otherwise would be dumped in landfills, it may be the most environmentally-friendly fiber on the planet. Manufacturing and processing recycled cotton requires no wet finishing, dying, liquids or chemicals. Thanks to recent advances in manufacturing, recycled cotton looks and feels almost identical to conventional cotton.

Recycled cotton makes sense. Using it in place of regular cotton helps eliminate the harsh dyes, pesticides, energy, water and human labor required of conventionally grown cotton.     I love my new Ecobags! They are very sturdy and the handles are long enough to carry over the shoulder which makes bringing in the groceries much easier.     I love these bags so much I had to buy more! They are so strong I can pack anything and everything inside them! Plus, with the neutral color, the entire family can use for any purpose - on top of groceries they go to all our retail stores, carry supplies for road trips and carry goodies when visiting friends!

    I LOVE the canvas bags I purchased. I wanted bags that were sturdy and washable as well as being reasonably priced. I have used the bags and am more than pleased at their capacity. If they held more, my poor arthritic hands would be unable to handle them anyhow! I am also pleased that they have no writing on them. I already own canvas bags from now-defunct stores and don\'t especially care to advertise a business that no longer exists. Your canvas bag has a tastefully placed label that has a quality look to it.

    Great bags. I pressed mine into a more traditional paper grocery bag shape, and I put a piece of cardboard in the bottom. I like them more now, although they did give off mysterious smells while being ironed. Actually, I am considering topstitching up the corners to help them stand up better. They are very sturdy and soft. Nice handles. I am planning to block print a few and give them as Christmas gifts.

    These bags are the most useful for a variety of purposes. They are very sturdy and inexpensive enough to be used as a craft project for organizations: children w/markers or permanent paints or adults w/transfers.     These are great, basic, economical, all-purpose bags. I have bought them for my own household and have given a number away to family. They are rugged and durable and hold quite a bit (you can really load them up!) -- the construction is high quality. The handles are perfect - short enough to carry in your hands (without dragging on the ground) but long enough to carry over your shoulders if you want. The bags are the perfect size - not too big / not too small. Appearance? a nice, basic, plain, off-white-ish bag -- nothing 'fancy.' While I have not yet had the need to wash them, it appears as if they could be thrown into the washer / dryer with no issues. And these were very well priced - a great value for what you get.
