Design & Functionality
The ideal every day, carry-all bag, these cotton totes are versatile, durable, machine-washable and made from 100% recycled materials. Comfortable, wide, cotton handles make it easy to carry on your shoulder or in your hand.
Generously sized (a bit bigger than a standard brown paper grocery sack), the bag has a deep 7.5” gusset and is double stitched at all stress points. It’s strong enough to hold 30+ pounds, so you’ll never worry about the handles breaking or the bottom ripping on larger loads.
Materials
When it comes to sustainability, recycled cotton blows away organic cotton. Made from pre-consumer cotton "table waste" clippings that otherwise would be dumped in landfills, it may be the most environmentally-friendly fiber on the planet. Manufacturing and processing recycled cotton requires no wet finishing, dying, liquids or chemicals. Thanks to recent advances in manufacturing, recycled cotton looks and feels almost identical to conventional cotton.
Recycled cotton makes sense. Using it in place of regular cotton helps eliminate the harsh dyes, pesticides, energy, water and human labor required of conventionally grown cotton. Furthermore, by recycling discarded fibers, we help divert millions of tons of textile waste from landfills each year.
