Materials
EarthLust bottles are made from high quality #304 (8/18) food grade stainless steel, which is naturally safe unlined. 304 stainless steel is the same material used for dairy transport, brewing and various medical uses and applications. It will not impart taste or odors, or leach toxins into its contents and it’s recyclable. Stainless steel has excellent resistance to stain or rust, is easy to clean, durable, inert and sanitary. Polypropylene (#5) is a safe, non-leaching plastic.
Sustainability
Using EarthLust stainless steel bottles helps replace wasteful disposable plastic beverage containers including plastic water bottles and juice boxes. Reusing these bottles ultimately helps you consume less over time. 304 stainless steel is a sustainable material, having a long service life, usability in a number of applications.
