Good Things - Small Packages

The lunch bags aren't huge - but they are very well insulated, adorable ad unique.
I pack my daughter's lunch with ice packs since they aren't refrigerated during the day and when the bags come home the ice packs are still partially frozen - 8 hours later!
The tiger is the largest bag and the panda is the smallest. The tiger or dog can fit a large sippy cup standing up - the others are best for older kids that bring juice boxes to school.

Godd product- for a while

I bought two insulated Munchers lunch boxes (a tiger and a dog) to replace the one that I had purchased about 18 months earlier. I had to replace the previous lunch box because the zipper had stopped working. My son loves these lunch boxes, and I love how they unzip to lay flat, giving him a clean service to eat on. I will continue to use these lunch boxes as long as the zipper works, and my son likes them. He is in the 3rd grade and loves that his lunch is zero waste. I just wish the zippers were a bit more heavy duty.

So cute! But maybe a little flimsy.

I bought a few of these lunch bags to give out as gifts, and they were definately a big hit! Everyone loved them they were very compact when rolled up (for wrapping purposes- and probably storage purposes too), and they were super adorable when they were zipped up onto their shapes.
As a teacher, I see a lot of lunch bags. These bags seemed a little less "sturdy" than many of the other bags out there, but if you're not worried about them lasting for am extended period of time, they will be fun while they last.

must say I was disappointed in this

I bought this to carry snacks & milk for my daughter, to take to the care giver's. Must say I was disappointed with it. First, it is quite small, so with a couple of containers for her snacks (yoghurt, fruit compote, muffins, etc.) there is no room for much else. Second, the make is quite flimsy. The zipper broke the first week we used it, and we are afraid that it's going to give any moment.
The other stuff I have from Built NY are quite well-made, so it must be the cute design compromsing the quality. Pity.

Insulated Medium Kids Lunch Bags
by Gina Marie D - 02/2010
These are adorable. Have had them on my Wish List for some time and was pleased to see the price drop. Haven't had them tested by my two year olds yet.

Absolutely love this product. My son has been using it for nearly a year. It's still in near perfect condition. The zipper isn't the best but it's definitely worth the money. My son is 3 and has been pretty tough on this bag and it's withstanded being dragged up and down stairs. I bought the dog one. It seems to fit plenty inside (although I do not put a drink in the bag).

Less than perfect zipper...
by Zachary F - 02/2010
It's a really neat design and my son gets compliments on it constantly, and the idea of being able to open it up is great so that it's easy to clean, the problem is the zipper is pretty bad. When I first got it, the zipper took like 15 minutes to get all the way around, and just when opening and closing sometimes it gets stuck or doesn't close as it zips... can be really frustrating.

We've tried all four animals, and my kids love them. They're particularly taken with the little autobiograpical cards that come with each bag. They're lightweight and easy to use. They're not terribly sturdy, though. The interior lining has begun to peel away on one bag after a half-year's daily use. A zipper broke on another. They're also hard to clean, and they get a little stinky.

I ordered this Medium sized lunch bag to pack my son's snack in to take to kindergarten. He loves it! I think it's the perfect size for a snack, however if using for a lunch bag it might be a bit small. I love that it keeps the items cold & my son loves that it's a tiger! (:
The shipping took longer than I had hoped, but overall I am very happy with this product!
Sincerely,

My daughter is in 1/2day Kindergarten, which means a 5minute snack. These bags are the perfect size for a snack(in a snack sack) and her (reusable) water bottle. It fits in her backpack no problem, and keeps her apples cool! Her friends love the bunny design too!

I bought a dog one and a tiger one a couple of weeks ago and won't be using them. They are small, flimsy and it was nearly impossible to use the zipper. I can't imagine my son figuring this thing out! I got them for his soon to be preschool but the zipper is too impossible! Don't waste your money!

The bags are super cute - but the Pink and Green o
by Susan E M - 07/2009
The bags are super cute - but the Pink and Green ones are smaller than the other two, making it impossible to fit a normal size bottle of water in the bag; the Yellow and White ones fit much more stuff. I have all four and alternate between two girls, and differnt sized lunches. The idea to unzip the entire bag is good for easy clean-out, but isn't really used otherwise. It would be great if there were a little pouch for a spoon, vitamins, or a note on the inside or out. If clips (such as the ones used for mountain climbing) were included, this bag would be easy to attach to a bookbag, or for cliiping a sport bottle. Some of the shapes make it difficult to fit into small spaces when full (the Green bunny for example has a triangle shape). I haven't heard any complaints from the kids about the insulation of the bag - but it seems a little thin to me.

I use this lunchbox every day
by Natalie P - 06/2009
I use this lunchbox every day. I orginally purchased it so I could stay a kid at heart! but now I am thankful for its practical uses. It is lightweight and durable and easy to clean. The colors are vibrant and it was very inexpensive. Overall great lunch box! (one complaint, after a while I feel like it might need to be replaced because it is so lightweight--but Ill cross that bridge when I come to it)
