I really like the ACME Workhorse bags that came in my Reusable Bag Set. They are light, strong, and hold quite a bit..as much as I would want to carry!! I was disappointed in the muslin produce bags that were included in the set. I thought I was getting a smaller soft string produce bag. (From the picture on the website, it was hard to tell.) I have seen these bags at my daughter-in-law\'s home and that is why I ordered them.

These are really a good size and work great! I attached a couple of them to a hook to keep them together easier and that worked just great.

ACME bags are so easy to use. Their strength is a plus---no need to worry about plastic or paper splitting while carrying gallons of milk or other heavy items. One grumpy Kroger checker complained about them but I think she was having a bad day. I had a feeling anything "green" might be against her politics. :)

I really like the nylon bags but the muslin bag with the drawstring are useless to me. They should be larger and not with a drawstring.

I like the compactness and light weight of the Acme Workhorse bags. However, I have a very inquisitive cat who investigates the contents of my everyday tote bag, and he discovered one of the Acme bags inside it. He snagged and pulled it out for a closer look. It now has perforations in a one-of-a-kind design. I'm still using it to see how long it will last, but bottom line, a claw-resistant fabric would be a big benefit, and I'd sacrifice a bit of compactness and weight advantage to have it! Also, while the bags are easy to carry, I think a longer length that would allow bigger holes would be nice--bigger so that you could slip the bag up onto your shoulder.

These bags are fantastic. Other reviewers have pretty much said it all, but these little bags pack tiny, carry more groceries than you'll be comfortable hanging on to, and are worth every cent. I bought the shopping set with the stay-fresh produce bags and the cotton bulk bags, and love those products, too. Checkers don't really enjoy the cotton bags, because they're used to seeing the produce codes through the clear plastic bags. But aside from that, they're wonderful.

I purchased the workhorse reusable shopping bag set to use as a stocking gift for several family members. I know they all are dedicated to bringing reusable bags to the store but on occasion they space out and end up in the store without their bag. These tiny, compact bags fit in a glove compartment, a purse or backpack and thus are extremely user friendly.

This set is great--now I need help remembering to take it with me to the store. :) I use them at any kind of store. I like the way the design of the bags is similar to the shape of the plastic grocery bags in the stores. When I do the self-checkout, I can loop the handles over the metal prongs and load up the bags easily. The first time I used them, the cashier crammed some plastic boxes with sharp edges into the bag and I was really afraid it would rip the bag, but it didn't. It did snag the fabric, but didn't pierce it. Thanks for a great set!

Workhorse bags: So far I really like the bags, their strength,compactness, capacity. I have a couple of minor complaints: - I already have two small holes in one of the bags caused by sharp corners of a rectangular product box. These may not be a big deal if the fabric does not continue to tear (its ripstop nylon right?) - The bag material is very slick, slippery and so grabbing the bags getting items into them is a little tricky.....more annoying than problematic.

Great product! The bags are very light and strong and can hold much more than regular plastic shopping bags. And the handles are much more comfortable to carry when full...they don't dig into your fingers like plastic bags do.

The bags are great. I carry one or two with me in my purse all the time and use them constantly. I didn't realize how many plastic bags I was bringing home regularly until I started using the reusable bags. I have my husband on the bandwagon, too, and he loves them. Also, they hold much more than the flimsy, plastic grocery bags so there are fewer bags and less trips to the car to carry everything into the house - always a good thing! Thanks for a great product!

I am so glad we bought these bags! They're fantastic! We have a small supply of larger reusable bags but were having trouble remembering to bring them in with us or take them back out to the car when we were done. Now, we have no excuse. I can easily fit two of these bags into my purse and my husband carries the other two in his messenger bag. They can fit just as many groceries as a regular plastic bag (if not more) and are sturdier. They're also very easy to clean. My only suggestion for improvement would be longer straps so the bags could be slung over the shoulder. The mesh produce bags in this set are great as well, though we found they don't work so well for storing vegetables. We found ourselves in need of additional ones, so we'll be picking up more very soon. The jury is still out on the EvertFresh bags. While it helped keep some peaches fresh for longer, I feel like it's causing my bananas to go bad quicker. I'm not sure I'd purchase them again, but it's nice to have them on hand for storage in the fridge after using the mesh produce bags if nothing else.

The ACME Workhorse Reusable Shopping Bag Set is a great product to help reduce the number of plastic bags people use. Each time I go to the store I bring my set and the bags are big and sturdy enough to hold just about everything I buy. I have had a couple trips where I've needed plastic bags because I bought a lot of stuff, so I guess I'll have to buy another set!
