The extra large size lightweight, muslin cotton bags are bigger than the standard plastic produce bags found in most grocery stores – great for oranges, broccoli and other leafy vegetables. The smaller size is great for a few pieces of fruit or small vegetables. I purchased my first lot of these a few years ago and they work excellent. Some people have complained about the extra weight cost but unless you are drenching them with water I don't see how this could drive the cost up that much. Most of the produce is per bunch and the ones that require a weight measurement have not cost much extra at all. The drawstrings make them easy to close and keep the items in and when I get them dirty they are easy to wash. I highly recommend these for anyone looking to replace those awful produce bags in the grocery store. These bags are so light, easy to carry, easy to clean and affordable.I have recently purchased more of these bags and I use them all the time. I think it's great that there are also two sizes though I mostly use the large because I never know what type of produce or how much I will be buying.

I love not needing to use the bulk and produce bags when I go shopping now! I try to reuse the plastic bags I have and to recycle the ones that are falling apart, but now I don't have to collect any new ones. I feel more wholesome showing up with my organic cotton bags.

These bags are great, I orginally bought them for my children to take dry snacks in their lunches.....but they are so big, we are using them for lunch bags!!! They are very affordable, sturdy, and wash up very nice. I highly recommend them.

I love these bags! I always take my compact bags to the produce stand, but it is hard getting the smaller items together to put on the scale....things like beans, okra, etc. These cotton bags have totally solved that problem! The vegetables go in there, on the scale, and then in the big bag! Problem solved! Now I leave the produce stand with as many plastic bags as I came in with. ZERO!

many uses for these bags

I absolutely love these very practical bags - I use them for so many different things, including snacks, bulk herbs/tea/beans/rice at the grocery store, to keep utensils clean in a lunch bag. I just throw them in the washer and dryer - I don't worry about shrinkage because the size they end up are fine. I do prefer mesh bags for produce but for bulk produce these are so much better than using the plastic baggies!

Love that we can stop using so many plastic baggies for the fruit and other snacks on our kids lunches. We just throw them in the wash with the rest of the laundry and at such a reasonable price we bought enough to cycle through everyday. Would recommend.

As a long time recycler, opver 30 years, I was still struggling with the holidays and a festive way to give my gifts. I came upon your bags and went with them. I made a gift tag out of fabric and pinned it to your bags. Put the gifts in and that was it. My family will receive their gifts from me in the same bag for eavery occasion from now on! I loved it! My family is coming around!! They were a little surprised that I asked for each bag back.

I Purchased the bags to use for gift wrapping gifts as well as my own personal use. I try to always give gifts that carry a message and why stop at the wrapping? I have been using reusable canvas bags instead of plastic for a few years now. I would refuse to use the plastice produce bags for my produce and when it came time to check out- I often made things pretty difficult for the cashier with all the loose produce. I was pretty grossed out too when my bare fruits and veggies would be on the checkout counter, the scale, and finally touched by the cashiere and the bagger. That's so much exposure to additional germs and grime. The bags now serve as a little piece of mind for me when I go to the grocery store.

Best Snack Bag

I own and have used many different types of snack bags over the years, and the Acme ones have the best quality and design by far. They are a heavier fabric material that keeps its shape well and protects the contents from crushing. The top stays open which makes for easy snacking. They are easily wiped down for cleaning and also come out great from the washing machine. They are good for both dry and wet (chopped veggie) snacks and would work for sandwiches - although I prefer wrap mats for sandwiches. Buy them - you will not be disappointed.

I love these bags! I have enough for me, now I order them to use for wrapping gifts. A second gift for the receiver and spreading the green message. I leave the tag on them The little ones are great for gift cards, and then the children can use them for snacks.
