This did not meet any durability standards that's for sure! Within about a month the velcro strip started coming off. I sewed it back on & it came off again. Also, the thin cords cut into your hands if there's heavy items in it such as glass containers, etc. and they kept on getting stuck in the velcro! Lastly, it just wasn't big enough to fit a good-sized lunch, esp. since most lidded containers are larger than it's base. Very disappointed in this product & wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

the handle broke within the first week. The handle is diminutive anyway, so I never used it. I ended up cutting the whole handle off and just pinch the top when I carry it. It does not keep its form very well. It becomes amorphous very quickly, so if you are expecting a bag that will look like a cloth version of a paper lunch bag, you may want to keep shopping. It is definitely a simple sack, and for that I appreciate it. If I had to do it over, I would look for a little extra support/structure however.

Got the Cotton Lunch Bag for my husband's work sac...replacing his use of plastic bags. We are both in love with it's size and simplicity. It's just what he needed to carry his frozen or left-over lunch, fruit and drink.

Good construction and very clean and nice looking. I do wish there was a slightly larger version, and it would be nice if there was a handle on each side rather than just the one handle. That would make it easier to carry when filled too full to close the velcro.

I love these bags.With just brown bags my daughters lunches would not last the morning before they ripped and tore. They have improved the handle from the last time I purchased them making them more strong and easier to carry. I love the black color does not show the dirt.

Love the bag. It's stong and not bulky like the insalated bags. Washable which is a good feature because as we all know sometimes some lunches can really stink. And for under $5 how can you go wrong. I would highly recommend this bag.

I like that the bag expands to fit more food/beverage what have you, however I do not like that the handle is only on one side. This one sided handle means that eventually with all the stuff I cram in there the minute I pick it up it opens, and my water bottle falls out. I usually end up carrying any liquids in my other hand. Over all its okay to carry small foods, snacks, fruit...no liquids.

My daughter loves these bags. She takes her lunch everyday to work and college and she hate paper bags. I usually order a couple at a time so that one is always clean. T had to order these two because someone must have liked the bag as well, because it suddently disappeared.

I was looking for a bag that could hold my daughter's lunch with making the "crinkling sound" in her backback each time she took a step. I wasn't really looking for an "eco" solution. I found your site through a google search. I was so impressed by the description and the idea of these bags that I bought myself one as well! We've been using the bags for several weeks now and we both are very pleased with them. The rope handle seems to be a bit useless as we just roll the top down, like a regular paper bag!

These bags are a huge hit with my 15 year old daughter. She has been brown bagging her lunch for 3 years, as it isn't 'cool' for older kids to use a lunch box. She actually saw a friend with the cotton bag and had to know how to get one for herself. She's been using it every day. It looks like a paper bag, takes up very little room and is flexible in her back pack, and she can crumble it up and stuff it in her pack to bring home when she's done eating. I love that it also hold more, and I can actually pack her lunch more neatly. Two thumbs up!

I have found that the Recycled Cotton Lunch bag, was all that I was expecting. It is a wonderful way to carry my lunch. After several washing the little bag is holding up well to the rugged use I have put it through. I will return to your website in the future.
