I purchased 5 of these bags and have been more than satisfied with them. They are tough as nails and can carry a surprising amount of groceries. My only complaint is after a year of almost invincible grocery carrying I attempted to wash one. It disintergrated. The seams tore right out. I would advise only washing with a cloth. My other 4 are still going strong.

I love, love, love these bags. I have used them for holding groceries, shoes when moving, books, magazines, and, really, anything that will fit in them. I tell the clerks that the only limit to loading them is MY strength. Many clerks have commented on how clean my bags are. They say that they see many re-usable bags that are very dirty. I just throw mine in with the towels and hang to dry. I have yet to find any limit to their usefulness. Catching asteroids outside of the International Space Station maybe?

I have 5 of these bags and I LOVE them! These bags are very durable and hold A LOT of stuff. Living in a condo, having to make fewer trips to the parking lot is always a good thing when bringing in groceries. I've gotten so many compliments on these bags that I plan to give them to friends and family for Christmas this year.

I bought these bags 2 years ago. They are great for holding a lot of groceries, standing up, being pretty sturdy. However a couple are now starting to rip apart at the seams after 2 years. I do use them frequently, but would have hoped they'd hold together longer. Overall, I'd still recommend them.

I really like the durability & the size of this bag. The "brown paper bag" replication has a jazzier look w/ the black, contrasting trim. I live on the 2nd floor w/out an elevator & use this bag for lots of "shlepping"! It seems to hold a lot of weight & therefore assists in my workouts. Who knew?!

The earth tote is a great product . I use them every time I go shopping. The clerks love them too and once I was asked for the purchasing details which I happily gave . I watched the video before ordering and I must say I was concerned that they would not lay flat once folded . No problem ! They have been soaked in a down pouring rain and by the time I got home they were dry . I\'m very happy with this product and will use it a long time ! No more plastic bags holding only 1 or 2 items ! Earth Tote seems to be about the size of the old time brown paper bags if you need a size comparison . Customer service was excellent also. Finally!! A pleasant green product to use !

I purchased about 6 of these bags. Today one finally gave up after probably 5 years of service...grocery shopping, trips to the beach, packing for trips in the car, etc. I will be buying more. I have no doubt I have saved thousands of bags...and the checkers LOVE them because they are so easy to fill.

Have had 8 of these bags for about a year and been pleased with them. My only complaint is that they are not stiff enough and don't stand up as well as I would like. Just ordered 4 for gifts and there seems to be a difference in these newer bags. They are stiffer, have a coating on the inside and stand up much better than my older bags. I wish my old bags were like these. Makes me want to order more for myself but don't know if I can justify the expense since my old bags still serve their purpose and have held up so well.

Love the bag. It's great because it holds a lot, stands up on it's own, and it's handles are comfortable for short distances. I have over a dozen so I can have some in each car - I have only had one where the seam pulled apart. I have bought bags and monogramed them for friend but have felt the ones I bought most recently is slightly lighter fabric. Still the best grocery bag I've seen.

This was my second purchase of these bags. I originally bought a starter set over a year ago that included 4 bags and more often than not I needed one or two more. I absolutely love these bags! The original set has held up very well. Only one has gotten some small holes in it but I believe that is because it got caught under one of the seats. They hold a lot and the handles are very strong. I have loaded down a bag with heavy items such as cans and drinks and had no problems with the bags taking the weight. I have also begun using them for other shopping trips besides groceries. They also make great bags for going to the beach or swimming. I have been very pleased with these bags and will buy more in the future if I ever wear these out!

I have been using the Earth Totes (4) for the last 3-4 years. They have held up beautifully and often the clerks comment on their quality when I check out. They are large, clean easily, and stand up for easy use. I have now purchased four more bags to give as gifts for a bridal shower and for a daughter going to grad school.
