Materials
Made from 5.2 oz. 55/45 hemp/cotton fabric. Hemp fabric is 4x stronger than cotton fabric of the same weight. Unlike conventionally-grown cotton, hemp has no known insect enemies and a high resistance to disease, so there is no need to use harmful pesticides in its cultivation.

Hemp products outlast their competition by many years. Not only is hemp strong, it holds its shape, which means less stretching and more durability. Better yet, hemp doesn’t wear out- it wears in. The more you use your hemp products are used, the softer they get. Learn more about hemp.

Hemp fabric is very resistant to degradation from mold, bacteria, salt water, sunlight, abrasion and chemicals. These bags are amazing!

These bags are amazing! I use them for everything including groceries, library books, and as pool bags. I have had my bags for over a year and they hold up great no matter how much stuff I load into them. They are comfortable to wear and easy to carry. One warning: make sure to wash them in cold water only and hang to dry. I washed a few and put them in the dryer and they shrunk up significantly (I think the instructions warn you not to do this).

I am very happy with these plain black tote bags

I am very happy with these plain black tote bags. The dual handles make them very convenient and they are sturdy and durable. I've had trouble getting my husband to "remember" the reusable bags in his trunk, but he likes and uses these.

The bag is really great

The bag is really great. I like the size and the double handle, but actually wish the handles were a little wider. I have to walk up a flight of 60 stairs to get to my house. So, I try to take one trip which means about four bags of groceries. This is when I realized that the long handles could be beefed up. Otherwise, nice texture, good construction and easy to screen print on!

I absolutely love mine! I have had mine well over a year and a half and they aren't showing the slightest bit of wear. The shoulder straps make them very versatile totes and you can really load them up.

I had these bags sent to Australia - South Austral

I had these bags sent to Australia - South Australia has just banned the use of light weight plastic bags. The dual handled tote is better than brilliant. When they arrived, I regretted not buying a bag with a base, but have found these bags cope with all sorts of loads. The long handles mean that your hands are free, or if a load is heavy, then the short handles are perfect. I bought the black bags on the recommendation of another reviewer, and plan to sew some braid around the tops. I highly recommend them.

An excellent product!

An excellent product! Far more cost effective than those for sale locally with the added bonus of not advertising for the grocer who sold them to me! In fairness, that grocer credits me five cents for each bag I present for them to fill. These will pay for themselves. They are light, seem quite strong and easy to manage. The only minor complaint I might have is that they are completely unstructured making them a bit tough on the packer since they do not stand up. Love the dual handle configuration!

I have a few of the cotton bags that I got for shopping, but little by little they all got poached by family to use for all kinds of things. We all really like them because they are a good size. The dual handles are pretty convenient although sometimes seem like overkill. They're well made, they wash nicely and are a good size for carrying everything from my lunch to work, workout clothes, or groceries. I like to use them for produce and then put the whole bag in the fridge. I am just trying out the hemp ones and so far they feel a little stiff, but I assume they will soften with age and washing.
