I bought several to hand to friends to encourage them to be green. I use them myself and find them perfect for grocery shopping, as well as lots of other uses. I put my hiking boots in them so that I can change into them once I arrive at my hiking destination. I use them to carry picnic stuff to the park and beach towels to the beach. They are the right size, sturdy, light, functional and attractive. And they wash well. I keep them in the trunk of my car so that I'm never without them when grocery shopping. They are great and everyone should use them.

My husband and I have used these for a couple of years as our grocery bags, and there is nothing better. They are easily packed by the checkers, as they mimic the paper bags, they are supremely sturdy, will hold any weight that will fit inside, and hold up well. The store checkers often admire them and ask where we got them--and they see a lot of bags! I can't imagine how many paper or plastic bags we have replaced with these.
I have bought many as gifts, and people love them. I use my embroidery sewing machine to monogram a set--the black ones look elegant and are great for travel or to-and-from the office.

These bags are lightweight, sturdy, and easy for checkers to pack. They hold quite a bit and are easy to carry. I love that they're made from recylced materials. They're doing a great job of replacing paper/plastic on my trips to the grocery!

These are great bags! Unbeatable for groceries and other stores and if you do car camping - they're perfect for the campground too (just don't get them too close to the campfire).

The Earth Tote is by far the best reusable bag that I've found in my 30+ years of taking my own bags to the grocery store. It is the right size and shape to hold an amount that I can easily carry and is moisture resistant. I use them for a variety of things including grocery shopping. Thank you!

Great product! Lightweight but strong. The price seems high, but these are constructed to last, unlike the flimsy "reusable" bags the grocery store chains sell for $1. I will be buying more!

I love these bags! I have ordered several now. They are very study, lightweight, and stand up better than a paper sack from the grocery store. Plus it has handles, which makes them very easy to get into the car and house. I never go to any store without these bags now. Very highly recommended!

This was an order for an additional supply of tote bags I have already been using for a couple of years. These bags are first rate -- very strong & flexible, and the handles are comfortable to my hands even when the bags are heavily loaded.

I bought these as holiday presents for coworkers, plus one for myself, two years ago. This bag was so much easier to use than less expensive, smaller bags (for purchase at checkouts everywhere) that I came back for two more. Checkout staff seem to be able to pack these better than other reusable bags and the handles can support a good size load -- saving me trips from the car to my second floor unit. My only suggestion at improvement: a lower price would be welcome.

I LOVE these bags! We've given these as gifts to family and friends. I've actually used mine so much that I wore them out! That's not a quality defect, I've really put them through a lot of hard work and they've stood the test of time. Now it's time for new ones.
These are sturdy. The wide gusset lets them hold a variety of items with plenty of room. The long handles are a big help, too. Plus, as others have said, the baggers in the store love these, too, since they're sturdier than any of the plastic pollution they use. A wonderful investment!

These bags are fantastic! And the baggers in the stores like them because they stand up straight. Their only downfall is that they are TOO durable and big that they can hold so much stuff that they can get heavy. I have four and I use them for toting all kinds of things in addition to groceries. Get 'em!

I do like the new recycled PET Acme Bags

I do like the new recycled PET Acme Bags. They look good and hold several items. I ordered them to replace some cotton bags that I got a few years ago. One thing that I\'m disappointed in is that they do not stand open like a paper bag, as advertised. That was one of the appealing features to me, since the soft cotton ones tended to collapse so easily. But I will certainly cope with the new ones.
Regarding the PET produce bags, I do like them a lot compared to the old cotton mesh bags. The personnel at grocery checkouts are able to see and scan the items, which was not so easy with the old ones.
Overall, I sincerely like Reuseable Bags. I am amazed at the number of plastic and paper bags I used to bring home! Nowadays I very rarely bring such a bag home.
