Current Part-time employment opportunities:
Operations - a dynamic, challenging, and very valuable role that will give real experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting, e-commerce management, customer service, inventory management and fulfillment, business analytics, reporting and administration. Requirements: organized, detail-oriented, Business or Finance college student with knowledge of business operations.
Web Development - assist with developing website functionality for the front-end and back-end of a growing ecommerce website built using OSCommerce. Requirements: natural problem solver, detail-oriented, Web Development student or recent graduate with some experience programming in PHP, CSS, and Javascript.
Web Design and Production – assist with graphic design, page layouts/wireframes, video and image creation and production, catalog page and feature production, newsletter design and production, catalog management, content management and design, and testing. Requirements: strong graphic designer with experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and HTML.
System Administration (Jr) - maintain production web server, office Linux servers, and maintain and optimize basic computing systems for team members (10), as well as completing other projects. Requirements: natural problem solver, detail-oriented, Linux-savvy, and an open-source advocate with some windows experience.
We offer $10 - $15/hour (depending on experience) for entry-level internships and employment. Interns and Part-time employees are expected to work a minimum of 10 - 15 hrs per week. Approximate office hours: M-F, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
